Our Ideal candidate

We’re looking for a proactive Social Media Manager who is passionate about creating a positive change in the world.
You will be responsible for the distribution of content across social media channels, supporting brand awareness, brand advocacy and engagement.
You have a knack for numbers.
You are comfortable working on multiple projects at a time.
You like bringing fresh ideas and experimenting to create engaging digital content.
You are empathetic, curious and resourceful.
You take initiative and are able to foresee problems and find solutions before they become major issues.
You serve as a brand ambassador.
You are totally comfortable with remote collaboration yet you thrive as part of a community.

The Job Responsibilities
– Deliver a full social media campaign from concept to creation to analysis.
– Schedule and post content across social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) according to the content calendar.
– Identify and implement tactics that drive followers’ growth & engagement across all social media channels.
– Distribute content in community groups across social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn) and other websites (Reddit, Quora, etc).
– Keep track of trends across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and bring learnings to the Marketing team.
– Tap into relevant trending content and make Handprint part of the conversation through community management.
– Track and measure performance on a weekly, monthly and campaign basis.
– Track social media features and engage back with those who originally posted the content.
– Manage the paid social media budget including forecasting, cost analysis and ROI together with the Head of Marketing.

Minimum qualifications

Please share your creative portfolio or examples of previous work together with your application.

– 2+ years’ experience in a social media management role.
– Experience in growing and managing social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
– Demonstrable experience in community management.
– Full proficiency with Hootsuite.

Preferred qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or related fields.
– 2+ years’ working experience in start-ups or in the sustainability field.
– Experience with paid social media for LinkedIn, Youtube and Instagram in a B2B environment.
